Steve Wilks served a full apprenticeship of 5 years from 1981 to 1986 and went on to work as a qualified electrician for a further 10 years until establishing Steve Wilks Electrical in 1996.
Steve has since carried out a variety of electrical work; from large full installations of industrial units, offices and houses, to installing consumer units, lights, sockets and switches in the home.
In everything Steve does – he goes above and beyond.
Steve communicates from initial enquiry or booking conformation, with reminders leading up to your appointment – as we all have busy lives and can forget. Steve also keeps you updated on arrival times.

Having a stranger working in your home can be uncomfortable for some customers. Steve will always be mutually respectful.
If your electrical needs are urgent, Steve will be there the same day. Steve will carry out his services in the most time-efficient manner. His van will be stocked of most items, so that he can deliver the result with minimal hassle.

Steve always adheres to the latest electrical and fire safety standards. He always takes pride in his work and ensures the best practice of installation is carried out.
Respectful of your property
He treats your property as if it was his own, and will leave your property as clean and tidy as when he arrived. Steve uses dust sheets, vacuums and overshoes.
If Steve says he’ll be with you at a specific time, he’ll be there 5 minutes before. If an unavoidable circumstance occurs, he’ll let you know immediately to inform you, or reschedule.
Steve Wilks is always honest about the situation. He’ll give a possible worst-case scenario, but will always aim for the best.
